Disregard the right arm thing, I was gonna try to make him lift the lantern up and down, but I couldn't get enough vertical movement cuz there wasn't enough room in the body to do it, so I took it all out.

Hey lori, the inner workings are the same as the leering skelly, I used 1'' pipe as the frame, used a 1'' cross for the neck piece and a 1/2'' pipe going thru that, the 1/2'' pipe goes into the head and down to the motor area, sitting in a 3/4'' cap screwed into the wood base the frame is attached to,here is a pic of it

David, who did you say had plans for the inner workings of your grave digger.  I've looked online, and cant't find anything.  Also, I got my hands this week.

I cant find anything on it, do you have a pic of what you're thinking?

It sounds like a good idea to me. I also did a quick search on the internet and it appears other haunters have done this. So I say go for it.

What do people think about this for a project, then you could display anywhere and take apart the frame for storage?

There is no reason you can't do it. The first year I displayed my FCG before she moved into the Mausoleum, I used a black wooden frame in the front window of the house to suspend her. I now use it for my Madame Leota.

I hadn't really though of either.  When we talked at the MNT, I said something about a PVC frame to hold mind in the front window so I didn't have to put mounting holes in the ceiling.  That's were the thought came from--combining the frame and the mechanism together. I don't know if it can be done or if anyone had done it before.
