What a great video, thanks for including the link! Isn't the Dark Zone fantastic? Kim and I almost did the drive to St. Louis at the last minute this year but decided to do it right next year instead.

$100 for a haunt walk-through? Holy Moses, that's half of my haunt budget right there! They'd have to give me an annual pass for that kind of money!

OK, those of you going to HauntX will have to make a similar report... Rob, you listening? We're looking forward to your video!

Well, it was awesome.

I took my whole family with me and they all had a good time.

To me, there seemed to be about the same number of vendors and about the same number of attendees as last year.

There were some cool new props and mechanisms that were very inspiring.

Each of my family members attended one or two of the seminars and took notes so that we can educate each other. The one I took was taught by Roy Wooley, from Face Off, all about costume and prop fabrication.

My two oldest sons and I attended the Darkness Behind the Scenes tour. It was more expensive this year, and didn't include the Lemp Brewery haunt tour like it did last year. With all due respect to Larry Kirchner and the Darkness haunt; it wasn't worth the money this year. It is a giant, impressive, well run haunted house, but $100 per person is a bit steep.

The City Museum party was a blast, again. I HIGHLY recommend a trip there anytime you pass through St. Louis, especially if you have kids.

I attended the awards ceremony and managed to get my copy of the classic "How to Operate a Financially Successful Haunted House" autographed by none other than Philip Morris of Morris Costumes (the author). He received a lifetime achievement award at the ceremony.

I posted some highlights of the tradeshow floor to youtube:

Thanks for the heads-up Lori! I went out to look but they didn't have my size. Guess I'll keep looking at the Goodwill shops. Hey, how about a report by our Transworld attendees? Abunai, Rev. Noch, how was it (other than awesome, of course).

I just wanted everyone to know that halloween asylum has tuxedos from the movey Posiden listed on their site today for $20. I ordered one for either Geoff, or a zombie or a skeleton.

Abunai, I dont know how big it is either. I have wanted to see Lake Tahoe and there is a kayaking competition in Truckee. I am trying to find stuff to do outside the convention just in case... I am driving so if I find something I want to buy that wont fit in a carry Im not fond of TSA groping.

Rob, My wife and I just reserved our rooms and bought convention tickets for HauntX.

Don't know how big it is, but I'd imagine we'll see you there.

We're flying (can't beat $229 round trip from Denver).
