I love Keoni's skeleton of a Nugget praying for a win. Clever. Very clever.

I submitted my entry for the Skeletons on Parade today!  PumpkinWow looks like it will be pretty spectacular, but they still need more entries. Jim will be on site Wednesday, Thursday and Friday getting ready for the opening.  Bring him an entry if you can!

the mech WILL move by hand. it seems tight sometimes, though. I have the clevis end of the rod mounted 9.75" from the bottom othe bar. When the mech is at rest there is two inches of rod extended.

I've got my cylinder mounted so that it fully extends/retracts. Can you move the mech by hand when everything is hooked up but no air is applied? If the answer is no, can it move by hand with the cylinder disconnected?

90 psi okay. I was at 100psi and my mech is not doing anything. I think it is binding. the cylinder works when not connected. I am going to try loosening some of the nuts. Question when the mech is at restiing should the cylinder rod be partially extended???

The controller is $74 and $6 shipping, Comes with the main
controller and remote. mp3 card and 2gb sg card, pir with 32 inch cable, power supply and quick disconnect, shunt jumper for repeat/loop mode.

I like the price of that one much better.  I think the one I have is 110v set up.  I'll take photos of them and post.  I would want to fry anything with the new set up.

If the valves are 110V that one would work, yes. Though there are some much cheaper options too for DMX relays. Here is one I found on ebay 3CH dmx512 relay Controller. While it's not a dimmer, this one would work (probably better) for DC or AC solenoid valves.

You can buy a fully built Tstraub controller form ScubaSpook on any of the Halloween forums. I have 3 or 4 of them.
PicoBoos are easy to use and well supported.
You could always get a push-button activator and activate the spider manually.
