Comment by The Grim Grining Ghost on September 19, 2010 at 6:36am: Glad to be part of this group, me and my Brother talk on the phone all year and send photos on the stuff we are making but he lives in So Cal so it would be nice to be able to get together with some people in town to talk about props and exchange ideas

I am working on my first paper mache skeleton right now. I want to learn everything so I can help others improve there haunts and make mine the best in the Sacramento area.

Comment by Bob Howard on June 4, 2010 at 9:31am: Yes, you can attend. Everyone brings a food item to share. There will be a list emailed when it gets closer so folks can post what they are bringing. If you want to bring a prop to work with you can. The only other thing is our give aways. This is optional but if you have a small Halloween related item that you no longer want or need we bring them in and at the end of the meetings draw names and one by one the items go to a new home. This does not have to be anything big just something you no longer use.

Comment by Bob Howard on June 3, 2010 at 11:48pm: If you haven't signed up for our Yahoo group yet please do. You can find the link at our Website calhauntsnorcal.com. All the information on our meetings are posted to that group. Here is part of the write up that was sent out for the June meeting.
"We will start off at 11am with a class in animatronic electronics. The class will include the basics of electricity, pneumatic solenoids, servos, micro controllers and a few common mechanisms. We will then have a few cool speed demos: Robert with bronzing and other paint techniques, Dennis displaying the light-o-rama. There are a few more in the works to be announced later. During the demos I will be offering my bench to your props. I will help you program and/or repair them. The June Meeting will be held in Roseville on Saturday June 19th."
