Cardboard Flowers

I had originally planned to make this into papier mache, but decided to try it with just cardboard first. The finished flower just fits in the palm of my hand.

I've been playing around with so many mediums over the last few months and like mache the best.  Cheap, versatile and forgiving.  Probably nothing that this group doesn't know about but check out to see some awesome work.  Scott is way open on how he does things and is crazy talented.

Love mache and monster mud! New to plaster, clays, and others. Looking forward to this.

All you need is, thin wire hangers, plastic bags, masking tape, string, duct tape, newspapers, paper towel, thin cloth, elmer's glue, wood dowels, pvc, a good idea and a firm place to stand and you can move the world.

Yay! We're open for business 02/21/11.

I have WIPs and How-Tos at my website, and will add links now and then. There is also a crop of recent pics that needs to come out of the camera, so will be posting some of those here.

Here is a tombstone that still needs painting:

It's 15" tall.

What is your favorite medium? I am all paper at this point.
