Good morning fellow PMPs,

Just wanted to get out a quick reminder about this coming Saturday's MNT. Yes, it is already June 20th, where has this year gone?
Keep in mind that the MNT is at a new location this time. We would like to thank Jesse and Tiffany for having us into their new home. I told them we would try not to trash it :^)

Here is their address:

35575 Oakwood Ln

Westland, MI 48186

Jesse has informed me that he has a very long driveway, not that he is bragging. So, please do not hesitate to park in his driveway.

As usual we will get started at high noon with a short meeting, then onto the build. If you would like to bring something to munch on or drink please do so. Also, if you would like to share something you built or bought please bring that along too. We will also be discussing Maker Faire which is coming up in July.

We will be accepting money for shirts at the meeting. If you can please bring exact change for the shirts that would be highly appreciated. We will be ordering shirts on the 30th.

As for tools you could bring to help, if you would like. We will be using:

1. Power Drills

2. 1/8" & 1/4" Drill Bits.

3. Phillips screw bit for drill

4. Sockets for 1/4-20 bolts

5. 1/8" Aluminum Flat bar cutters

If you have any questions please let us know.

Ever prop forward,

I have been asked about shipping of our shirts. So here is the skinny.
1 shirt - $5
2 or more shirts - $10
So, if you need your item or items shipped, please add the appropriate amount to do so to your paypal payment.
Also, in your paypal please make sure you let me know exactly what you want and sizes.

Maker Faire Detroit is quickly approaching. Making plans now for our 20'x40' tent area. Shooting for another great year and possibly winning the Maker Merit Award from MAKE magazine.

Hello fellow PMPs,
After being approached at GLFF, this year, about PMP shirts, I did a quick survey and it looks like we shall make an order for shirts. Rather than just for shirts we are also throwing out other options as well, such as hoodies, etc.. The shirts will have a 12"x12" PMP logo on it. Black shirts with white logo, as shown in the added picture.
So, here is the skinny, we would like to make this order sooner than later, that way any one that comes to Maker Faire, in July, can wear their shirt. June 30th is the deadline for the shirt order.
Just like our MNTs we will accept payment for your order in two forms:
1. Paypal - (please use friend option when sending, no fees)
2. Cash/Check
        please mail checks to:
        29922 Montmorency Dr.
        Novi, MI 48377
If you are mailing a check please email us to let us know.
You can also pay at our next MNT, which is June 20th.
Here are the costs:
Small to XL
T-shirt - $8.25
Long Sleeve Tee - $11.25
Sweatshirt - $13.95
Hoodie - $18.00
Zip Hoodie - $28.00
2XL - 3XL
T-shirt - $10.25
Long Sleeve Tee - $13.25
Sweatshirt - $15.95
Hoodie - $20.00
Zip Hoodie - $30.00
T-shirt - $11.25
Long Sleeve Tee - $14.25
Sweatshirt - $16.95
Hoodie - $21.00
Zip Hoodie - $31.00

Here is the address:

35575 Oakwood Ln

Westland, 48186

The date is June 20th and as always it will start at high noon, as we like to say around here, with a quick meeting. Please feel free to bring snacks and such, along with anything that you may want to show off or sell.

We will be doing the Grave Grabber. This is the website I am using for the inspiration for the build.

So, the final cost for this prop is $95.00

Most of the cost for this is in the motor and power supply with shipping.

Here is the breakdown from Frightprops:

$19.99 Power Supply

$24.99 Wiper Motor

$15.00 Shipping

$59.98 TOTAL

As you can see the cost of the wiper motor is the killer when it comes to cost.

So, we have two options.

1. If you have your own wiper motor and power supply - $35.00 (for everything else)

2. For everything, including motor - $95.00

Keep in mind this cost is for the guts of the grabber, not the gore (Head, Hands, clothes, etc.) We shall leave the gore up to you.

As usual we have 2 ways of paying:

1. Paypal -

2. Cash/check up front, by due date. We will be at Great Lakes Frightfest if you wish to pay there.

So, to get the motors here on time we need all the money in hand by June 10th. That gives us 10 days to get all the materials, etc. We will not be buying extra motors for this build, so if you want to build one please get your money to us on time.

If you have any questions or concerns, please just let us know.

Ever prop forward,

Hello fellow PMPs,

I forgot one thing, how to get the payment to us.... Doh....
So, we have a couple options:
1. Cash handed to us ahead of time of course.
2. Paypal - - Please choose friend option when sending so there are no fees applied.

Hello fellow PMPs,

The 'Breathing Grave' is the winner. For those that may not know what that is, here is a link to a finished one. When I say finished they added a tombstone and leaves.

Looks like the final cost will be $35. This includes everything except a tombstone and leaves as shown in the video above. To get the motors here on time we will need to order them, so, we will need the payment in for this MNT by February 20th.

So, keep in mind that this MNT will take place in Romulus at our normal place, the Toby's. Starting time will be high noon as usual. The build will be in their garage with heaters going, but you may still want to dress for cold to start off with.

Their address is:
34833 Michelle Dr
Romulus, MI 48174-3437

Please feel free to bring snacks, drinks or whatever you may want to munch on while you are there. If you have something you built and want to show that, bring it along. We start every MNT with a quick meeting on what is going on in PMP.

The Prop, once it is completed, is roughly 4ft long x 2 ft wide x 6" depth, so, make sure you have room for that in your vehicle.

If you have any questions or concerns please let us know. Hope to see you all at the MNT.

Ever prop forward,

Afternoon fellow PMPs,

Thought I would give one last shout out about this coming weekends MNT. Don't forget this MNT is on Sunday, not Saturday as usual. For those that are coming, Jennifer sent me a grocery list of tools you could bring to help if you wish.
Here is that list:
1. heat guns
2. utility knives
3. power sanders (palm sanders work well)
4. sandpaper and hand sanding blocks.
Keep in mind that we will have these items onsite already, but if you do have some of these items and would like to bring yours to help, please do.
As always, if you want to bring a pop or chips or something to chow down on please do.
The MNT will be at the Toby's house. We will be working in their garage with heaters on, so please dress warmly. Last I saw it was to be 40 degrees that day.
Here is their address:
34833 Michelle DrRomulus, MI 48174-3437
If you have any questions, please let us know.
Ever prop forward,
