Hello fellow PMPs,

I forgot one thing, how to get the payment to us.... Doh....
So, we have a couple options:
1. Cash handed to us ahead of time of course.
2. Paypal - Poormanprops@gmail.com - Please choose friend option when sending so there are no fees applied.
Ever prop forward,
Randy

Hello fellow PMPs,

The 'Breathing Grave' is the winner. For those that may not know what that is, here is a link to a finished one. When I say finished they added a tombstone and leaves.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cl3xW4ON_uA

Looks like the final cost will be $35. This includes everything except a tombstone and leaves as shown in the video above. To get the motors here on time we will need to order them, so, we will need the payment in for this MNT by February 20th.

So, keep in mind that this MNT will take place in Romulus at our normal place, the Toby's. Starting time will be high noon as usual. The build will be in their garage with heaters going, but you may still want to dress for cold to start off with.

Their address is:
34833 Michelle Dr
Romulus, MI 48174-3437

Please feel free to bring snacks, drinks or whatever you may want to munch on while you are there. If you have something you built and want to show that, bring it along. We start every MNT with a quick meeting on what is going on in PMP.

The Prop, once it is completed, is roughly 4ft long x 2 ft wide x 6" depth, so, make sure you have room for that in your vehicle.

If you have any questions or concerns please let us know. Hope to see you all at the MNT.

Ever prop forward,

Randy

Afternoon fellow PMPs,

Thought I would give one last shout out about this coming weekends MNT. Don't forget this MNT is on Sunday, not Saturday as usual. For those that are coming, Jennifer sent me a grocery list of tools you could bring to help if you wish.

Here is that list:
1. heat guns
2. utility knives
3. power sanders (palm sanders work well)
4. sandpaper and hand sanding blocks.
Keep in mind that we will have these items onsite already, but if you do have some of these items and would like to bring yours to help, please do.
As always, if you want to bring a pop or chips or something to chow down on please do.
The MNT will be at the Toby's house. We will be working in their garage with heaters on, so please dress warmly. Last I saw it was to be 40 degrees that day.
Here is their address:

If you have any questions, please let us know.
Ever prop forward,
Randy

Afternoon fellow PMPs,

Hope everyone had a great Halloween and scared a lot of people :^)
I wanted to get this email out before everyone jumps into the Thanksgiving week, not only for those celebrating Thanksgiving, but also, for those that are going to brave the weather and get out and shop.
So, here is the skinny. With all the parties going on that time of year, trying to schedule one of these has been interesting. We do have a date now, so, please make note of the day.
Date: Sunday, December 7th  ( YES, I SAID SUNDAY )
Time: High Noon as always, coming in late is acceptable if you are attending church that morning.
Location: The Toby's house in Romulus.
Make-N-Take: Foam Books and Skull - One of our own, Jennifer, makes these books to sell at various venues around and is willing to teach us how to make them as well. I included a picture of what the finished product could look like. These are some of the ones Jennifer did.
Cost: $15.00
MNT Includes: 4 carved foam books with sanded spines, pages sliced and heat-gunned; a skull with a hole in top for a candle. Gluing could be a now or later option. If you want to paint your books different colors, it's really easier to do it disassembled. So, painting will not be included in this MNT. Jennifer has agreed to do a demo on how she paints and assembles her's during this MNT, so, we all can see the process.

Payment Due Date: November 30th

Payment options: Paypal ( poormanprops@gmail.com ) Please use friend option. CASH also works, you can pay the Toby's or myself (Randy). Please make arrangements for the cash option.

If you have any questions or concerns, please let us know.

Ever prop forward,

Randy

Also, a lot of our MNTs are being uploaded to our webpage. The book skulls is not there as of yet, but some of the rest are. Here is the link:

Yes, there is a document one of our members uses for making these that she developed. Send us an email and I will attach it to the email for you. Poormanprops@gmail.com

I just started looking through Poor Man Props, and the first thing I saw was the foam books and skulls.  I live in AZ, a little far... is there a tutorial on these?  Might be a good build for AZ Haunters!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN fellow PMPs,
We made it to the big game, now all we have to do is survive :^)
Keep an eye on your stuff this year, and every year for that matter, it seems there have been some theft happening around this year. A friend of mine has fake cameras up on his house just to hope the robbers see them and decide to go elsewhere. It may be worth the cost in doing that.
Don't forget about our MNT coming up in December, I will have more emails about that as we get closer. We are making foam books with skull candle.
Wanted to thank those that stopped by on Saturday at the Henry Ford Tinker Days. Had a great time and met some great people. Kids got to make not only our glowing eyes, but also green slim. It seemed like they all had a blast. We look forward to working with the Henry Ford in the future.
Well, get out there and buy that candy and be ready for all the sales starting tomorrow bright and early at the Halloween stores. I saw some of the displays at my local Spirit store already have sold on them. I guess you can buy them right out of the gate if you want these days, if you want to pay full price.
Ever prop forward,
Randy
