DROP'S HOOD

I've been decorating for Halloween since 1997 but I feel I can only say I've been haunting since 2005. Making my own props is the most satisfying hobby/obsession I've ever had. Garage of Evil is the first network/forum/group/space/etc. that I've ever belonged to and so far I'm really enjoying it. Living in smalltown Idaho, I seem to be all alone out on this Halloween-Nut branch and it's nice to finally have some company, even if you all do live like a million miles away.

Yo!

Always nice to find someone else local as afflicted as I.

Nice Grumble..............I'm working on one right now. It would help if the temperature would warm up some! It's cold in the garage!

Did you ever get your caramel corn?lol I just ran across a link to your display while on a Idaho Geocaching forum. You are making yourself noticed. They gave your coordinates on there to find you. Way to go!!!

just dropping by to leave a reminder.

A message to all members of Garage of Evil!!

Just a quick note on the music over the network (again).

auto-play: Don't be that guy (or girl)

Really, a lot of us sneak peaks at work, and it's a pain in the a$$ to deal with. Don't force your tunes on people.

OK then, back to my beer...

don't be that guy, DG. more people will visit your page if it's not always either screwing up their own music they have playing or if they don't have to worry about it blaring while at work. love the tunes, just not autoplay. ttys

Your paper mache is so cool. It certainly doesn't look like what we used at kids - Newspaper and wheat paste. Are they waterproofed?

Say, have you used S or C to stick styrofoam together? I'm thinking of making a giant skull by sticking sheets of foam together and then carving it. What do you think? This is the first year I've used S or C. Thanks!

Thanks DG, I dig your stuff too, a lot of detail there, excellent work. If you have any questions on how to get started, I'll be glad to help out.

You Guys Rule!

My Halloween joy stems from my seven nephews and five nieces running around my house and yard on Halloween night in a sugar-fueled frenzy. It's a wonderful madness. Over the last couple of years, my minions have been moving away as their parents foolishly prioritize careers and education over my Halloween party. I'm left with just one nephew this season. I love him to pieces but one just isn't enough. I've found it impossible to get excited for Halloween and I've lost all motivation to create an… Continue
