I'm completely bummed in the home stretch for Halloween.
I recently underwent shoulder surgery which didn't go so well. Now I'm stuck in a sling with absolutely no use of my right arm (and I'm right handed of course) until late November. So all my projects will go unfinished until next year. This was the year I was really going to take my haunt to the next level. I'm looking for some critiques on my tombstone weathering. I've watched a ton of YouTube vids but still seem to have problems getting a good look. I think my weathering looks dirty and not really weathered.
My technique:
1. Paint base gray
2. Dry brush black focusing on areas that would "bleed" dirt (ie. top, under letters, and bottom upwards)
