Profile Information

The most important question! Do you build the elements that go into your haunt, and/or want to learn more about building props? Oh, and if you choose no, we're going to have to delete you.
How long have you been haunting:
One or two years
Your haunt comprises...?
Your haunt - Do you prefer?
Scare the sh**out of people
Tell us a little about your haunt..
Police cruisers filled with blood and bodies - animatronic hands coming out of boarded up windows - sounds of people screaming and clawing at doors over giant PA speakers - massive armies of fog machines - arrays of strobe lights and rolls of authentic police tape. oh yeah and demonic sayances with pentagrams made of blood and fire...
When it comes to props/decorations in your haunt, would you say you are:
The friggin' FX department of a major Hollywood studio
Which statement comes closest to describing your haunt's attitude toward kids?
We have a fully-charged de-frib unit standing by just in case
You understand that any non prop related content will be deleted?

Sorry, that's a bit far for me to travel. I'm in Allied Gardens, near Qualcomm Stadium. Here's the pic of my lab

Hi and welcome to the group!  We have a regular project schedule on our main GOE page Forums, and do a project each month except October ('natch), November (our Show and Tell), and December.  Each Make and Take varies in complexity, scope and cost.  We have done foam tombstones, soldered circuit boards and LED lighting, paper mache pumpkins, PVC candles, and many more.

Each month I'll make an event for a Make and Take, click on the Events tab at the tpo of the page and look for the orange and black GOE SOCAL logo, then RSVP.  Be ready to bring your own tools and materials, which will be spelled out in the event details.  Some M&T's require a pre-order or special parts.  We also do potlucks at the M&T, sometimes a theme.

Our members skill levels range from basic haunting to advanced electronics, and there's always someone that can answer your questions.

Check the events tab for the next M&T and we hope to see you there!

If you have any questions, feel free to ask me or any of us.
