Baked clay glued to metal, glass

Posted on February 22, 2011 at 10:48am 5 Comments

Looking for advice:

I have small baked clay and painted trinkets and want to attach them to lids.  Glass and metal lids.  The adhesive needs to not show but bind strong enough to allow the Clay trinket to function as a handle to lift the lid.  Note: the lid is not heavy (3inch diameter) but the jar contains items so the lid would be used often.

Question: What is the best kind of glue to use?

Home Haunters - Where else can you find a group of people so skilled that one minute they are running sewing machines, next using duct tape in 1002 ways, figuring out electrical circuit loads in their heads and then outside in the cold firing up welding torches and still have dinner on the table. - When in the future it is time to send a rocket up to colonize a new planet, it won't be NASA trained explorers but a "can do" ragtag group from GOE.

But why is it, during this sad, reflective time, does the neighbor HAVE to come out and mow his dead *^&^*(&^%$ lawn. I had the wind, a crisp chill, the crow calls all shattered by the RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR of a truly evil machine attacking my day....
