Quick and Easy Props

So....i'm having a Halloween Party and Haunted House in a few weeks. Due to moving 5 hours away into a new home...I have not made any new props this year. Do you have any suggestions on something that I could make quick and easy that would scare a 8 yr old kid? Madison has invited her entire class over so I'm looking forward to see the little ones go through the haunted house.

Man trapped underground!

A couple of years ago in our haunted house we made a prop to scare people as they walked a trail through the haunted house.

Just imagine...Suddenly a light comes on from below and a man/monster is beating on a sheet of plexiglass from beneath their feet! It made everyone jump and scream. There was no way around him...They had to walk over him.

Live Torso On Table Illusion

Picture this: Haunted house customers walk by a round table with a head or torso as a centerpiece! As they start to walk by, its eyes snap open and the head growls at the audience. Upon closer inspection, the onlookers can't see anything under the table either. I saw this one at a haunted house once and just about flipped!
