So as inspiration has continued for creating last minute additions to my props and decor, I've been thinking about why I enjoy Halloweening.

There are several reasons I've determined for why I do it:

1. Community.

For one, with fellow haunters -- although we seem to be of a different breed, in some cases speaking a different language that non-haunters don't understand. My dad and I often talk about pooling our resources (props as well as talents)… Continue

Fellow Haunters,
I haunt in Kensington, Md. GDCHH is a free, volunteer based local haunt group that started last year. The member include new haunters to professional haunters.

We have scheduled our second build, the GDCHH Rocking Tombstone build for May 15th, 2016 from 1:00 to 4:00.  It will be at my house in Kensington, MD.  There are three props that we can build, rocking side to side, rocking front to back and leering prop.  The following link shows the three options that will be available.  The group will build the prop mechanism and on your own you will build/add the tombstone.

Do you have any interest? Friend me or post a comment and I will get you the details. If you would like to join us for the build or would like information about the group, please let me know.

Hello, and welcome to the fun! Please take a moment to read the posting guidelines, and bear in mind that off-topic (non Halloween prop related) content may be removed from the Photos section to ensure space for prop related content.

Other than that, please post your work! Sharing your creations is what this place is all about.

Thanks for joining,
