I have had a fountain for years now, It was a 'birdbath' style one with it only the blood circulating in the top.
This year, I added the Pool under it, with a nice great stuff' coating of guts like texture around the outside, painted red of course.
I moved the pump from th etop section to the Pool and allow the 'blood' to cascade from the top skull land overflow from the top into the pool.

See this it should conver the crystal ball pretty well, I'll get it on the Oszlar post .... eventually Make your own Video Projector The lens unit I found online was about 15 bucks and I'm cheap so the TV is an old 8" b&w one I had around

As for Oszlar, how do you handle TV projection? Is it like a "peppers ghost? Of is it the TV directly facing the viewer?

Absolutely, Just fire away with the questions..... I will try to get my notes online at some point (but probably not till after this season).
