Seems I have a wormhole under my workbench. It is invisible, but it sucks tools, screws, my solder, and anything else important into an alternate universe. How it knows to capture only important things, I do not know. It completely ignores trash.

I had a short circuit in my 9 volt line yesterday that kept my gargoyle eyes from working. The power supply was getting hot. Think I've fixed the thing. One of the connectors was touching ground (literally). Re-soldered it and insulated it. Works...

November is sad for me.

Like the vivid orange and blacks of October, the autumn peak has come and gone. The bare trees, fallen leaves, and gray skies reflect my somber, melancholy mood.

It's only now, with the props put finally away and the sets torn down, that the changing seasons really hits me.

The long season of cold white death will soon be upon me. It will being heralded by that oft repeated dirge "just in time for the holidays".

hey rob i used a 8 rpm gear motor with a aluminum bar and glued a magnet to it then glued magnets to the pointer and used some cheese cloth on the magnets on the pointer so it glides better if not the black magnets mark up the board also make sure you test the magnets if you glue the wrong side the magnets reverse and it pulls away try to get the motor bar with magnet as close to the board as possible it works better i'll try to dig it out to get some pictures good luck and happy halloween john
