GREAT find at ARC Thrift Store!!! Give me your thoughts...

Posted on February 27, 2011 at 6:00pm 9 Comments

Just found this phone at an ARC Thrift Store in Denver. Just couldn't pass on it. I'm thinking it might make a good "Talk to the Dead" phone, seeing as how the inside covers has three dead guys in coffins.

Pumpkinrot = Mouse Food for Trick or Terror

Posted on January 24, 2011 at 3:01am 4 Comments

So this weekend was all about the Haunt. Saturday: Colorado Haunters Make & Take. Sunday: Move Trick or Terror from temporary storage to our new storage locker, close to where we actually live. Saturday was great, but on Sunday, we go to move, and find a big surprise...

We encourage all of our staff and volunteers to build props. Our Operations Manager built a Pumpkinrot style pumpkin demon last season. Looked GREAT in the Haunt! When Haunt season was over, we asked all of our… Continue

Sprinkler Valve for Air Cannons

Posted on July 24, 2010 at 6:44pm 5 Comments

Just wanted to know if we should have any safety concerns about using a sprinkler valve when building an air cannon. I know that you should NEVER use PVC with compressed air, and I'm sure the sprinkler valve is made of a different material, but its not metal. I just wanted your thoughts on the subject.

Need Help with Sam from Trick R' Treat

Posted on April 26, 2010 at 9:01pm 2 Comments

I am building a static prop of Sam from Trick R' Treat. What should use for his head? I found a styrofoam ball at hobbie lobby for $20, which I thought was a little too much. And, since I'll have to deal with fire inspectors this year, I know the styrofoam is not going to fly, unless I hide Sam from them. The thing I like about it though is that I can stick the styrofoam into the PVC with ease. Any Ideas?

Thanks Chris.  I'm still trying to get used to the vid portion but I like having the ability to show people what the hell I'm rambling on about.  I'm glad you're enjoying it.  I'll try to keep the next installment down below half an hour.  Looking forward to seeing you at Transworld - It's gonna be a blast!!

Hi Chris: Sorry I missed the Make ' Take last Saturday. I had a last minute job that I had to finish and it took way more time than I thought it would. I had to pull an all nighter just to get it done. I spoke with Sandy and I know she was busy as well, but both of us intend on making the next one. I can't wait to meet everyone and have some fun doing what I love to do most...Haunted Stuff!!
