Bag O' Stuffed animated animals-what to do now?

Previously I have used the stuffed animals in their original forms with some modifications. Most of the sounds were disconnected, the bodies ripped and bloodiness added. Now I want to take the workings out and make something new. I've seen Allen Hopps' video where he took a tube of yarn and made a creature and plan to do that. Anyone else with other ideas?See More

Beginning of a Demon

So you take your basic foam wig head, add cardboard here and there to build up the face, make horns and attach. The horns are made of concentric rings hot glued and masking taped together. Three layers of newspaper were mache-d on and let dry. A cut up half of tp tube went into the chin. Nose is more cardboard. Cheeks are layers of…See More

Huge Haunted Nursery

Posted on September 27, 2014 at 11:47pm 0 Comments

Tonight I was put in charge of a huge space for a nursery in a charity haunt. About 25 x 40 feet I'd guess. People will walk all around the edges, along the "walls" so everything will be viewed from all sides.

The walls will be your basic black plastic so no way to hang anything. Going to have the grandkid AKA my #1 Minion, and his friends, draw things that can be taped to the walls, but that's about it.

I have an old two-seater upholstered rocker, a playpen, real wheelchair, a…

These were looking at me out of the dumpster so they hadda come home with me:

Take a pot, any old pot and some paint. Stick the pot upside down in a box and start dripping paint down the sides. Add a bit here and a bit there. I took it out of the box so you could see it.  Isn't the pot creepier when…

Hi there! Finally getting around to getting my yard done this year!

Hello,

I've been doing a yard haunt for a few years now, always adding a little more each year.  However, all the props have been just store bought stuff as I have absolutely no idea how to make pneumatic props or program things to make them work (and have no money for that anyway).

I'd really enjoy trying to make some props to make my yard more personal (and scary) so thought this would be a good place to start. :)

Well if your interested in selling anything I can mail you a box with a return on it for you to give to your postal carrier - or drop off at a UPS store - whichever is easier for you.
