Fog Machine Repairs / Help? / Parts?

Ok these things that we call fog machines are so cool when they work BUT... How many of us have had problems with theses great machines? I'm willing to bet 90% of everyone that has bought one has had problems by the 2nd year. I currently have 5 different foggers of different ages. I think 2 are going on their 7th year. The #1 reason these things break are due to using the suggested fog machine cleaner. Leave em filled and put them away. Don't use that cleaning crap. The #2 reason for failure is… Continue

Has anyone tried to make "Falling Fog" ???

I have this idea in my head that I want my foggers on top of the house being chilled by a trash can chiller so it rolls off the edge of the roof onto the ground. Its about a 24 foot drop. I know if there is any breeze I'll be covering my neighbors yard instead of mine but it seems so cool.

Has anyone tried this??? Ever hear of anyone doing this??? Did it work????

Hot Glue Gun Spider Webbing - Your opinions???

The first time I heard about a web shooter I went nuts... I gotta have one of these things. I'll cover the entire house!!! So then the realistic price options came into play for a real good one which put me in my place. Now I found this great tutorial on how to build my own with a hot glue gun and air. Cool I can do that and for the right price too. I built this thing up 2 years ago and had problems with the glue gun getting clogged and not working right and since I modified it I couldn't take i… Continue

Flickering Real Lantern

Remember this is electricity and it will burn down your haunt or give somebody a damn good shock if not done correctly. Make sure your wires are insulated, shrink wrapped, and/or black taped!!!

I made this a few years ago so bare with me.
I got the lantern from big lots for about $3 bucks. The light I used was an amber porch light in the shape of a teardrop. Need a light bulb socket that is mountable inside the lantern (I used the socket from an old lamp so I still had the threaded shaft and nu… Continue
