Boo!
Greg here from Terror Technologies, thanks for the compliments on my videos. I am also Comedy Of Fears Haunters Podcast as you now learn the truth LOL!

What you saw in the padded room video & quick daytime video was completely outside. And yes, it was freezing, and it does sound like that they were saying "I'm freezing" but I'm crazy & I’m not crazy is what they were saying. Temperatures were in the 20's that night!

The quick daytime walk-thru starts at the end of my driveway, you enter the cabin façade into a 10x20 portable carport with a 10x10 gazebo tent attached to the left as you enter. This area was for the prize giveaway display with all the half bodies and Halloween games and list of how-to haunt discs, there is a photo op area for the electric chair and guillotine, we had local celebs signing autographs behind the bar, and it was also was used as a staging area for the chickens who wouldn’t enter the haunt and for parents waiting for their kids to come out. That leads you up to the donation box, we had 3 charities last year, there they were given tickets for the free giveaways, info to the haunt online links, and last they got 3D Chromadepth glassed to enter the 3D maze room which is a 10x40 deck attached to my garage, then you enter 1 of the 3 service doors on my garage (which was cut out because it was too dark) but it held a haunted nursery mad lab, and torture tool-room and that led them out to the padded room again outside, then the bathroom, demon hall, moving portraits hall, the falling wall, 3d-toxic room, distressed living room and through the camo hall all consist of my backyard. I used 2 10x20 portable carports then tarped off the remaining right up to my fence line and up against the house. You may have noticed I have absolutely no grass in the backyard, I garbage picked 2x6 planks for the entire summer to completely cover the whole back yard, it’s like 1 huge deck out there now. Backyard is 30x40 only, but between the driveway, decks, garage, backyard, partial front yard it all works out to be 3000 square feet of protection against rain & wind and sometimes snow, and mostly the midnight thieves!!!!! I had a lot stolen in 03 so in 04 I decided to enclose it and have not lost but 1 mask to this date since then. I started out with 1 10x20 carport, and now I have 6, but usually only use 5 of them cuz I build the entire haunt by myself and I never have enough time to build everything I have on paper. Since 2006 we have averaged no less than 1000 visitors, in 06 on oct 13th we had a freak snow storm leaving over 2 feet of snow and freezing rain in a 12 hour period, nearly every tree in the Buffalo NY surroundings was severely damaged, no power for most for weeks, many haunters lost their entire displays with 65 mph winds, yet we still managed to salvage our haunt and had a 1 night display and gathered 594 visitors surprisingly since most folks were still without power, it took the city nearly 2 months to clean up the storm damage. In 07 weather was upper 60's and we had nearly 3000 in 4 days of operation. Last year we were open for a week but temps in the 20’s, freezing rain nearly every night kept them at home, we had only 1035 for the 26 hours we were open. Well, back to working on the next podcast, it’s due out next Saturday, tune in will ya!

Later,
greg
