New Axworthy Ghost...Ideas please...

OK, here's the situation, I'd like to make an Axworthy Ghost, but with a twist. I'd like for the head of the ghost to be a flaming skull, minus the pyrotechnics. In other words, I imagine a clear skull (plastic, resin, what-have-u) would work perfectly and I would add the ORANGE/RED & BLUE LED's (flickering if possible) to give it that look of the faux flame inside of the skull. We are a finalist in a halloween contest and need our fellow haunters help 3 days only.

Hey all. Well it seems that the Burrhill Boneyard is a finalist in Our local news stations Halloween contest. They have put up a web page only for the next 3 days for folks to go vote. Halloween 2010

I'm new to this site but not new to Halloween. I've been active in theatre and am basically familiar with carpentry, animatronics, etc. Just enough about all those to make me dangerous (is that a bad thing??? LOL). Well, next year I'm doing my own haunted house. I'll be making most of the stuff by hand. I've dabbled in special fx makeup, but that's where I'm gonna stop: "dabbled". November is sad for me.

Like the vivid orange and blacks of October, the autumn peak has come and gone. The bare trees, fallen leaves, and gray skies reflect my somber, melancholy mood. It's only now, with the props put finally away and the sets torn down, that the changing seasons really hits me. The long season of cold white death will soon be upon me. I received this note in the mail Tuesday...sent without a return address or name. But it really touched this haunters heart that someone would take the time to write this. It made up for the items I mentioned inmy last blog post.

Halloween 2009

This was the second time we decided to open our haunt for two nights. Last year the second day was a bummer as it rained most of the day Saturday, the day after Halloween. We did however have a good turn out of ToTs and Looky-Loos Halloween night. 631 to be exact. This year we opened the day before Halloween and had a small turn out of 51 ToTs and Looky-loos. It is awesome that this site is up. I just wanted to say a little here and introduce myself and let everyone know I appreciate all the of videos and pictures that are put up for viewing. The Burrhill Boneyard 2009. The good. The Bad. & I gave everything away.......

So here we are my fellow haunters. The night has passed and most everything is cleaned up. This year was nuts for us. I only run the haunt on Halloween night, But this year i opened it on Friday also, on the account that a driving rain storm was going to walk over us starting at 3pm on Halloween day. House Bloodthorn 2009 - The Resurrection of Rose

Man, I Love Halloween!

Halloween has come and gone and all I think about is what I'm going to do next year. What started out five years ago as a a quick little walk through for TOT's that took a week to put together, has turned into a full blown work of passion that takes months of planning that people look forward to as much as me. Just thought id let everyone know that my haunt has made it in the local press! as the best on the island "i'm elated" cant wait to see the pic's when it comes out on friday, will upload them soon as. Residential Evil was Awesome

We had a great Halloween. We had about 800-900 ToT's and about half went through our garage haunt. The neighbors all came out and hung out at our house the whole evening. The last ToT's came by around 10 and we shut down around 11. While we did not have anyone fully wet themselves we did have quite a few bag-drop-and-run's and even got a few unsuspecting parents to fall down in fear.
