I attended the MidWest Haunt Convention this past weekend.
It was Awesome to meet so many like minded people and even better to see so many of the products everyone speaks about online first hand.

I met Edward Douglas from Midnight Syndicate and purchased my very first CD for my yard haunt. Purchased a new skull (never can have too many), really cool teeth paint for the kids, and Foam Coat along with Boost and Bounce (can't wait to play with these).

I figured I'd bullet the weekend for you -

- My truck was too tall to fit in the Parking Garage at the hotel (Damn)
- Trade Show was Awesome.
- Hotel room ready early for check-in (YES)
- Beer
- Found Karen and Tom (Awesome)
- Beer
- Xbox 360 Convention going on at same time (WTF - 100's of teenagers everywhere)
- 2 Beers needed
- Met Dean from MonsterGuts (Awesome)
- Met Brian from Evilusions (seen a web shooter first time)
- Watched first Zombie Walk (Cool)
- Dinner (Nay)
- Costume time (FUN)
- Beer
- Scare gamers in Elevator with 2 scary clown dudes (Loved It)
- Beer
- Party time and LOTS of Pictures while drinking beer
- I was a pirate and became Captain Morgan don't ask
- Met tons of Great people
- Beer, Beer, Beer
- Complain about feet hurting and where my boots could go :-)
- Changed out of Captain Morgan getup
- Roommate sleeping - I venture outside for smoke break....in freaking PJs with about 100 gamers and Haunters (which is not a good combination BTW)
- Try and return to room NO!!!! - Damn elevators stopped working around 1am.....I was not about to track up 11 flights of stairs to my room.
- Found people with a cooler of beer in lobby....PRICELESS
- HUNGOVER beyond belief in AM ......Ouch....
- Overall experience = Going back Next Year!
