The tilt servo must be mounted "below board" meaning the servo tabs must be mounted under the plate. Unfortunately, there are plastic ridges on the servo that must be removed first or the servo won't sit flush against the plate.

Photobucket
A rasp makes quick work of this.

Photobucket
Ridge removed.

Photobucket
Do the same on the other side.

Photobucket
Both ridges removed flush on both sides.

Photobucket
Servo should sit flush on the plate now without wobbling.

Photobucket
Screw it down to the plate from the back.

Photobucket
Notice the levels of the servos. This is important as the linkages are at different levels as well as we'll see later.

Photobucket
Also note the orientation of the servos. The servo hubs need to face the correct way.

Photobucket
Install the rodend on the axis bracket, making sure the ball is centered to the hole in the plate.

Photobucket
Mount it on the hole closest to the plate...

Photobucket
..making sure the head is parallel to the plate.

NEXT: Assembling the 3 axis plate continued again...
