The Bastard Stepchildren of GoE MnT
Just wanted to share some photos and video from the first Bastard Stepchildren of GoE Meet and Greet/Make and Take!
It was held July 18th at Tom and Karen’s Evil Garage in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
It was great meeting up with everyone! Special Thanks to Tom and Karen for hosting and Karen for feeding all us Bastards (awesome dip man). Tom...thank you for helping so much with the build! Love Ya man!
A big shout out to my new 4-ever buddy Sparky who brought the case of Killian's Irish Red (oh yea)! Love the Foam Carvings and lights :) Thanks for sharing and giving me a few awesome tips.
Thanks to Troy and Stacey (ashleysasylum) representing The Indianapolis Sinister League as well as Lot13 and Hemmie. It was great seeing all of you…..sorry we missed you JustCallMeMurray and HallowSkeen (next time for sure).
We had awesome Show and Tell from foam carvings to pop-ups to drinking ghouls...it was great! Thank you all for sharing with us.
We plan to put a 2010 schedule together by the end of year so we can get started much earlier next year!
Troy and Stacey's working Vortex....Oh Yea Baby! It Rocks!
and we won't mention that I melted a dime to the table or that Troy scratch the crap out of the mirror or that I got metal in my eye! We'll just keep that hush hush :)

Hey, if you put the little handle in a vice you just rock it back forth a touch and it pops right off. Takes about 4 seconds (read the how-to dangit!)

Yea..I meant to post that about the mirrors! For those that read this you do not need to use the dental mirror on the motor if you don't want to.
Bastard Lesson Learned: If you scratch the mirror with an out-of-control dremel the laser scatters off the scratch and looks like crap.
Trust us...go buy the bag of mirrors (they are they exact same size as the dental mirror just no metal backing) and save yourself from grinding off the stupid little handle (I personally can say I hate that little handle).

Tracee, bag of mirrors at Michaels $1.99. I believe we are going to have some Pirates in the garage this year with some fog and the laser behind them!
