I just used basic servo arms and added epoxy clay to build into the shape I needed.  Once I had the prototype working I molded it and made copies out of smooth-cast plastic

Thanks - I made several to mix with static bats in a scene - since they sleep (pause) and move randomly it should be a great effect.

Good job on the movement. A lot of the kids here in so cal wouldn't b looking for the bat to move!
