Getting started with the Monster Guts Nerve Center

Geoff and I drink beer, then more beer, then some more. And about 30 minutes later already have the Nerve Center rocking. I love this thing!

Hi- Thanks for the great vids on the monster guts nerve center- Much better than the limited instructions for those of us who haven't delved into this realm as of yet- My dilemma is hooking up the comet pir I also bought from monster guts with the nerve center- It appears from the page that came with it to be NC- k- makes sense- but theres 4 more terminals other than basic power- any one know what goes where ?

I was wanting to buy a couple of controllers and was wondering how this compares to Frightprops controller or other controllers?

Sorry it's actually an interrupt relay not a timer... but you get the idea.

I put a cut off timer in the PIR circuit. The timer interrupts the PIR trigger for the duration of the prop.

The only advice I normally give in this situation is don't use a PIR. I know that's pretty unhelpful, but my ratio of haunters that have bad results with them, to haunters that do is like 1000:5 at this point.

Great how to Steve, I've got mine to work BUT I can't stop my PIR trigger (one from EFX TEK) from constantly triggering (I think that's called bounce) I put it way back in a black tube that didn’t work any suggestions?

JC1AF-TM-DC12V-F (normal, cheaper) or Crydom D2W203F (solid state, 10 bucks per)

Google search either part number for sources to buy from.

Just got a Nerve Center and need to switch some 110V valves. Can you tell me what brand and model solid state relay you are using?
